Fortnite: Battle Royale's Flush Factory Treasure Map: Where To Find The Treasure

Another week, another treasure map to follow in Fortnite as we all march toward a new secret skin to unlock in week 7. This week, the game has us heading to Flush Factory to find a treasure map for a hidden battle star, but if you follow this guide, there’s really no reason to go to Flush Factory at all, unless you want to dance in front of the birthday cake there.

The map in Flush Factory is one of the more cryptic ones I’ve seen, and you probably would have a fair bit of trouble figuring out where it’s pointing to on your own. Here’s what it looks like:

There are no clear major landmarks on this map, but Fortnite players have figured out where it leads all the same. That would be a little mesa north west of Fatal Fields and south west of Salty Springs. Here’s where that location is on the map:

And here’s where it is from the air, as you’ll probably want to land there directly or else you’ll have to build up to reach it.

This mesa contains almost nothing of interest, just a house and a shed with an ice cream truck parked in the driveway (how does he deliver ice cream when he’s stuck on a mesa with no roads?). I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been to this part of the map before for any reason, unless it happened to be a final circle or something. This entire area of the map, including Fatal Fields, seems destined for replacement with something more interesting someday. Perhaps a new historical village in the next few weeks?

Anyway, once you land on the mesa, you’ll go to where the driveway-that-leads-nowhere curves around and you’ll find the battle star in a dirt patch there. This is where that is:

This is not exactly the greatest starting location as you’ll probably only find a chest or two at most on this mesa, but if you want to complete the challenge quickly, you’ll want to land straight on it. Depending on how many other people are trying to complete this challenge right away, you may have to battle a few other folks for this dirt patch, so you might want to run inside the house and grab some weapons before you start digging. I did not do that, and as you can see I am roughly 0.2 seconds away from being killed in this screenshot.

I like it when these treasure maps are a little more cryptic than usual, and this is one of the tougher ones to figure out. But fortunately for you, you don’t have to guess at it yourself, which is why you’ve looked up this guide. These challenges are always labeled “HARD,” but if you know where you’re going, they’re actually pretty easy. Best of luck with the other challenges this week, including skeet shooting, which may prove a bit more difficult.
